The clean identity check is the app record, not the icon alone. On iPhone, the listing identifies the developer as Xingin and the seller as Xingin Information Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. On Android, look for package ID com.xingin.xhs and the Shanghai company as developer. A “RedNote downloader,” modified APK or look-alike client is a different product even if its icon or screenshots resemble the platform.
