OUR METHOD
Show the route to the answer.
A link is not enough. Useful information also needs a date, a scope and an honest account of what has—and has not—been tested.
Sources have different jobs
Government and regulatory sources establish official rules. A bank, airline or platform explains its own product. A recorded field test shows what happened under one specific set of conditions. Research and community reports add context or expose failures that still need checking.
Scope stays visible
A result for a US passport, a UK-issued card or one app version is not silently expanded to “Western travelers.” Pages identify the market, passport, city, device or service conditions that materially change the answer.
Freshness is an editorial field
Time-sensitive pages carry a verification date and a planned review date. Material changes explain the old state, the new state and what the reader should do now. An expired high-risk page is removed from indexing until it is checked again.
Field-tested means reproducible
We only use that label when the test records the details needed to understand the result. An official claim we have not reproduced stays “officially stated.” A repeated user report remains a report until independently checked.
