The recovered Bilibili teardown asks whether an intermediate folding format could become mainstream. Its title and counters cannot answer the durability question.

What the original source identifies
The September 8 Bilibili upload identifies itself as a Xiaomi 18 Fold teardown and asks a question about the device’s format. It runs for 935 seconds. That is enough to identify a sustained teardown presentation, but not to certify a screw count, repairability, hinge life or whether the format will become mainstream. The former “seventy-screw” label is removed because it was not established in this recheck.

The difference between showing and testing
A teardown can show the arrangement of a hinge, battery and board in one opened sample. Long-term durability requires repeated use, controlled stress or failure data; repairability also depends on replacement parts, tools and access. A close-up is persuasive because the object feels inspectable. That persuasion should not be mistaken for a measurement that the video never performed. When viewing, distinguish a component shown on camera from an inference about how all retail units will behave.
The short-video comparison remains open
The two Douyin links are preserved, not certified as a first and second angle of the same evidence. Their playable content was not recovered. We therefore withdraw the claimed platform-to-platform change and the weekly ranking. The original hashtag-play figure is also absent from the refreshed table: an aggregate hashtag counter is not comparable with views on one teardown.
